Jenn and I are going on our second “date night” without Emma since she was born. We are going to a Fort Wayne Komets hockey game, courtesy of Jenn’s work. Her work has a suite at the Memorial Coliseum, where the Komets play… and let me tell you, that’s the only way to watch hockey. We’ve been to the suite a few times, it’s nice, free tickets, beer and food… and you get to look down on the general public sitting on hard metal bleachers and paying for their hot dogs and beer… suckers.
Now truth be told, I don’t really care about hockey, but the experience is fun and I might see a fight… and I’m looking forward to a night out with Jenn and other adults. On a side note, the Komets have lost every time Jenn and I have watched them, they are on a record win streak at home…
so I apologize right now to any Komet fan out there if they lose tonight.
