“Are these suppose to be capri pants?” I asked my wife innocently after I changed my daughter… the answer to that was a no… they were really cute on her though. My baby girl has moved into the next size of clothes, not because of her girth but because of her length… and Emma has moved from Swaddlers to Cruisers! She’s growing so fast.
… so this last weekend Jenn and I worked on some overdue projects. While Jenn sorted through Emma’s clothes, replacing the 3-6 months with the 6-9 months, and did the very overdue task of organizing the baby’s closet… I did some of my outside jobs that needed to be done… hang my outdoor thermometer, fix the downspout (the screws ripped out because of all the crazy wind we’ve been having)… and throw away the second ceramic flowerpot that cracked this winter… note to self: ceramic flowerpots can’t withstand freeze thaw weathering.
Inside I WD-40ed Emma’s squeaky door… a WAY overdue and super easy task that needed done… the door would give off this horrible squeak in the last 6 inches before the door would close… and I have to share with you, that after I fixed the door, Jenn laid Emma down for her nap, and she squished her fingers in the door because she was unconsciously listening for the squeak… you’re welcome sweetheart… and then I started on the den… what a mess.
In the end I have managed to make more work for myself: I have a crazy amount of bins, boxes and miscellaneous objects that need to go up to the attic… baby clothes… magazines (I happen to have all but 8 Maxim magazines since 1998… my wife is so proud of me)… old paper work… a TV…
… I’ll get around to it…
