It seems my baby girl is having a rough intro into her second year… she has recovered nicely from the dog bite which occurred in November… now she has developed what resembles to be a cold sore on her upper lip… it looks to be a little more then just a scratch…
“You better take a rain check on that Art. He’s got a lip fungus they ain’t identified yet.”
Some Holiday Cheer…
Emma riding her Eeyore accompanied by “Frosty the Snowman”… I’m having way to much fun with iMovie.
Toys, toys… and some more toys…
After spending way too much on Emma’s one year pictures, Jenn and I decided that I’ll be taking over all milestone picture taking… at least until her senior pictures… and hopefully I’ll be competent enough at that time to take those for her too…
It happened so fast…
It happened so fast…
Yesterday while visiting my parents, Emma got bit in the face by their eleven and half year old Corgi…. I’m dealing with some mixed emotions… the dog was owned by my grandparents when they were alive and now mom has him, so he is family… but he bit MY baby girl!
Fall is officially here…
The leaves have started to change colors, the days are getting cooler… area high school football teams are preparing for the playoffs… Go Falcons beat Garrett… these are all signs that fall is upon us, but it’s not official at my house until I hear the roar of the neighboring grain dryer…
My baby girl has turned 1…
We celebrated Emma’s first birthday Sunday… which was the climax to a busy week of making cakes and cleaning house… throw in a trip to see my friends at The Papers on Friday and entertaining my best friend Rick, his fiance Tiffany and their puppy Fitz, whom by the way didn’t have a single accident in the house… and happily neither did I or Rick…
A year ago…
A year ago yesterday I worked my last day at the Auto & RV publication and finished a roller coaster chapter of my life…
My baby girl is crawling…
I have read/heard that crawling is no longer a major milestone… to whomever came to that conclusion, I would like to inform them that they are full of crap! When my baby girl crawled for the first time yesterday afternoon I felt so much excitement and pure joy to be witnessing this achievement…
Emma’s vice…
I learned something today… (besides the difference between vise and vice… I can always count on my buddy Rick for correcting my grammar)… my daughter has a vice… her formula must be in a bottle and not a sippy cup. She has been really adapting quickly to drinking her juice out of a sippy cup and I decided to give her formula to her in one yesterday…
